Youth Fall Soccer League

Fall Soccer 2020- The Groveport Recreation Department will not be offering a youth fall soccer season due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19. The safety of our young athletes, volunteer coaches, soccer officials, spectators and staff is our highest priority. We are hopeful that we will be able to offer a youth soccer program in the spring of 2021.

The season will consist of 8 games, which will be played on Saturday mornings and several Sunday afternoons.  Practices are 1-2 nights a week and are scheduled by the individual volunteer coach.  Volunteer coaches are needed.  Interested persons should contact Juli Pintz (Recreation Coordinator) at 614-836-1000 ext. 1513 or jpintz@groveport.org.

Soccer officials are needed.  The GRD needs officials for the fall soccer season.  Officials earn $12 - $22 per game, pay rate depends on if official is certified and what division they work.  Officials must be 14 years of age or older.  Interested persons should contact Juli Pintz at 614-836-1000 ext. 1513 or jpintz@groveport.org.

The Community Cleat Box is a used cleat exchange program.  Used cleats (in good condition) may be donated, then participants needing cleats for the upcoming season may select a pair from the inventory free of charge.  Check the front desk of the GRC for availability of cleats.
