Adult Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun game that is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a wiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. The game can be played as singles or doubles. It is easy for beginners to learn and can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Intermediate Pickleball Instruction

The intermediate pickleball class is intended for players who have a solid understanding of the rules and are looking to improve their game.  We will focus on landing the ball in the kitchen, slice/spinning the ball, reaction drills, straight and cross court dinks, warm up drills, and aiming for the remainder of the time.  If you have a regular pickleball partner, encourage them to participate.

Beginner Pickleball Class

Pickleball is a fun and growing sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and ping-pong.  It is played with paddles and whiffle balls and requires movements similar to tennis.  The first hour of class is instructional.  We will cover the basics of game play, rules, scoring, skill development and strategy.  The second hour of class will be open play to practice the skills discussed.  By the end of the class, players will be confident playing the game with more advanced players.
